    Q - Who has to pay? A - It's free to unemployed people and those on a minimum state pension, for example. We'll discuss this with you when you come for assessment - click on 'Get in touch' above to arrange an appointment Q - If I need to pay - how much will it cost? A - It depends on you, and your ability to pay, but prices per session start at £0 and the maximum anyone will pay is £50 per session, find out more without obligation by clicking on 'Get in touch', above Q - Will I be means tested? A - No, there is no means test. We will work with you to understand what you feel you can afford to pay Q - How can you do this? A - Our counselling staff are volunteers - we're able to see people other counsellors can't afford to

    Q - How do I apply for counselling? A - Click Get in touch above, or call 01157270626 or 07727603075 Q - How are my appointments Scheduled? A - Regular weekly counselling sessions are usually arranged and the number you have is something you can agree with your counsellor Q - How long will counselling last? A - Usually sessions last for 50 minutes, and may be for only one, or a few weeks or may extend over a longer period depending on what you want. Your appointment will usually be at the same time each week with the same counsellor Q - Do I need an initial assessment? A - The initial consultation/appointment is an opportunity for you to talk about what has brought you to counselling, what you might want from it. When attending an assessment appointment you’ll need to allow for about 90 minutes

    Q - How long are waiting times? A - Waiting times vary and every attempt is made to accommodate you as quickly as possible. We'll try to offer you an assessment appointment within a week of contact Q - Do you have a waiting list? Q - Our services are in demand, so there might be a waiting list for both the initial consultation/assessment meetings and subsequent counselling sessions Q - Opening times?
